Mr. Kamar Owodiran Olowoshago hails from the esteemed lineage of Late Alhaji (Chief) Abdul-Hameed Arowolo Dawodu-Olowoshago and Alhaja (Chief) Halimat –Ul-Shadiah Dawodu-Olowoshago. His academic journey began at All Saints Private Schools, Ikorodu, where he distinguished himself as the 3rd Best Student in the state during the Common Entrance Examination. He furthered his education at Oriwu College, Ikorodu, and Igbobi College, Lagos, before obtaining a B.A. Combined Honours in English and Education from Lagos State University and a Master's Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos.

Mr. Olowoshago commenced his career as an Assistant Lecturer at Lagos State Polytechnic Isolo before transitioning to the Lagos State Public Service in 2000.
